Are There Benefits To Podcasting?

In a series of tweets, Nigerian Podcaster, Edmund Oris, outlined the benefits and “small” wins he’s enjoyed since he began his podcast, Vibe With Edmund Oris, in 2019.

His success story includes sponsorships, monetization and interviews on major media platforms including The Beat 97.9 in Ibadan and Pulse Nigeria.

Edmund insists that there’s money in podcasting “like a lot of money but you’d need to be patient to grow your audience to get it.”

Among the things Podcasting can help one do are:

Improve speaking abilities

Improve writing skills

Teach one how to communicate effectively and pitch sales

He also believes that intending OAPs could take a shot at Podcasting and begin to create and churn out content of their own from “the comfort of their room and on their phone!”
